JOIN USA local court has issued a body warrant against former minister G Janardhana Reddy (in pic) in a defamation case.
Former minister M Diwakar Babu had filed a defamation case against Reddy for publishing an article in a paper of which he was the editor and also for the telecast of a report in a local private TV channel with regard to the murder of an industrialist and for suspecting the role of Babu in the nearly 10-year-old murder case.
JMFC court judge M B Kulkarni ordered that a body warrant be issued as Reddy was presently lodged at the Parappana Agrahara jail in Bangalore and he be produced for hearing in the court on September 14. Notice has been issued to another accused in the case and former minister B Sriramulu also and he has been asked to be present in the court on September 14.
