3,000 women to be IT-enabled

Training in basic computer skills, tally and soft skills

Minister P M Narendra Swamy said that the Government will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) shortly with Tally India Private Limited, who will be training these women.

“Just computers skills are not enough, Government should also take an initiative to train girls in spoken English to help them land jobs in call centres,”  said MLA Roshan Baig.
Over the next four months, Tally India will train 3,000 women, whose annual family income is Rs 40,000, in computer basics, tally and soft skills. The training will assure 20 per cent placements and 40 per cent help in getting placements for these women. The programme commenced on Friday across 80 networks of Tally Academy at taluk and district headquarters.
