Advani may quit politics

 
Since the outcome of Lok Sabha elections, Advani, who led BJP into its second successive general election defeat at the hands of its rival Congress and its allies, has been under pressure to quit as leader of the opposition in the Lower House.

“He expressed a view to distance himself from politics but was not clear precisely when he would do so,” Swami Vishveshwara Teertha said. The guidance of a senior like Advani was needed in BJP and politics.  “For this reason, he should not quit politics but guide the youngsters by continuing to be on the field,” the seer said.
