Reva to use GM channel for sales

This agreement comes on the heels of both the firms announcing a strategic partnership earlier this week.  GM President Karl Slym said “our ability to develop platforms and Reva’s capability in developing electric drive-trains and control systems will help both firms, to make eco friendly cars,” while Reva Chief Technology officer Chetan Maini said “The distribution of Reva cars through GM dealerships will give customers an easier access Reva.” Further, GM said it is planning to launch a new sedan in the coming week, and that its much awaited small car will only be launched in January 2010.
