Comfortable win for JSS Public School

Shreyas KV and Srihari BV contributed with the bat and ball as JSS Public School registered a 129-run victory over New Cambridge High School in the Dell-KSCA under-16 inter-school tournament (Division III) here.

Taking first strike, JSS posted a competitive 207/5 in 30 overs spurred by unbeaten half-centuries from Rakshith R (56 n.o.) and Srihari (54 n.o.) while Shreyas chipped in with 42.

Chasing 208 for a win, New Cambridge were skittled out for 78 after a superb bowling effort from Shreyas, who scalped 4-18. Srihari (2-8) and Kanishka S (2-21) claimed two wickets apiece as JSS completed the formalities in the 20th over.
