An Air India spokesperson said 18 flights operate in and out of BIA on a normal day. The flights cancelled included an evening and night flight to New Delhi. However, the national carrier operated flights normally to Thiruvananthapuram, Goa and to Dubai on Tuesday, from the City.
Stranded passengers of cancelled flights were accommodated on Kingfisher, Jet and Indigo, according to sources in the airport.
