At a time when some victims of rape and exploitation are taking their own life to save themselves from living with the `guilt', a Rajasthan girl has turned the tables on her tormentor.
To teach her perverted music teacher a lesson she filmed him in the act even at the risk of exposing herself.
The girl, who is pursuing a diploma in music from Rajasthan Sangeet Sansthan, was allegedly sexually exploited by her tabla master Rajkumar Bhatt.
She was allegedly blackmailed by her teacher when she protested against this.
She was pushed into a corner when the teacher allegedly made known his intention of involving his friends too in her exploitation.
Soon after this, she started getting indecent calls from unknown people, which reportedly led to her confrontation with him.
Caught in act
It was then that she decided to trap him. She caught him in the act with her mobile phone, converted it into a CD, and took it to higher authorities.
The department of college education has suspended the teacher on the basis of the evidence, delivered by the girl herself. He now faces expulsion.
“Bhatt is currently under suspension and an inquiry has been initiated against him. He was asked to report at a college in Bharatpur pending the enquiry,” Subir Kumar, director, college education said.
“I was in for a shock when she approached me with the CD. We have to appreciate her guts. It requires remarkable courage. She also carried the risk of exposing herself,” he said.
There are about 20 other girls who reported similar advances by the teacher and it is then that the girl decided to teach him a lesson.
