A motorcyclist died and his pillion rider sustained severe injuries after their bike rammed a median near Bilekahalli petrol bunk on Bannerghatta Main Road on Friday.
The deceased has been identified Vivek Ganapathi, 21 and the injured is Kavan, 20, both BBM students of Cauvery College, Indiranagar. They hailed from Kodagu and were staying in a rented room in Koramangala.
On Friday night, the two went out for a party with their friends at a local bar. It is said Vivek and Kavan were heavily drunk and went on a ride without heeding their friends’ advice.
