Governor H R Bhardwaj on Monday urged the governments of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu to go by facts and find a solution to the dispute over sharing of Cauvery water.
“Agitations do not solve the problem, but add to it as even the courts do not work under pressure,” he told reporters after addressing IAF personnel here. Bhardwaj said leaders of both the states need to chalk out a plan and arrive at a mutually beneficial arrangement.
“...They (Karnataka and Tamil Nadu) should go by facts and help each other. This is what the Cauvery River Authority and the courts will do,” he said.
