<p>Beijing hopes to solve frontier disputes with India through friendly negotiation, Chinese foreign ministry has said. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Chinese foreign ministry's spokesperson Hong Lei said it Friday during a regular press briefing on being asked about Sino-Indian boundary issues and bilateral relations, Xinhua reported. <br /><br />He also said that the border area has been maintained peacefully and remained stable.<br />China and India both want to use friendly negotiation when resolving boundary issues, he said, adding that meetings between special representatives of the two countries have been positive.<br /><br />"China develops in a peaceful way wholeheartedly, and hopes to maintain a friendly and cooperative relationship with India. China wishes to settle boundary issues through negotiation wholeheartedly," Hong said.<br /><br />To create a brighter future in Sino-Indian relations, the two countries needed to strengthen mutual trust, the Chinese spokesperson added.</p>
