HMIL had sold a total of 46,218 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales stood at 27,803 units against 22,311 units, up 24.61 per cent. Exports were at 26,001 units compared with 23,907 units in September last year, up 8.75 per cent, HMIL said in a statement.
In its A2 segment (Santro, i10, i20 and Getz Prime) the company sold 49,482 units, while in the A3 segment (Accent and Verna) sales were at 4,269 units. In the A5 segment (Sonata Transform) 52 units were sold while one unit of SUV Tucson was sold during the month.
