A motorcyclist was killed in Kammanahalli Saturday late night as he rammed a tree after hitting a pedestrian.
Belwin Kiran Shekaran, 22, a resident of Kammanahalli and an employee with a BPO had hosted a weekend party at his house on Saturday night.
The accident occurred while he was returning after dropping a girl, who had come to attend the party, home.
Police said Kiran was riding the bike in an inebriated state and without wearing helmet.
He lost control over the vehicle and hit Paul Kantarao, a pedestrian.
A seriously injured Shekaran was rushed to a nearby private hospital where he was declared dead.
The condition of Kantarao is said to be stable.
