Shahid Kapoor to play cop in Neeraj Pandey's film

After Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn donning the khaki uniform in films, now it is the turn of actor Shahid Kapoor, who will be seen playing a police officer in director Neeraj Pandey's upcoming film.

The actor has signed a film with the 'A Wednesday' director, in which he is going to be seen for the first time in the role of a cop.

"Yes Shahid Kapoor would be seen in uniform for the first time," confirmed Shanti Sivaram of Bling Entertainment Solutions, an agency that represents the 31-year-old actor.

Presently, Shahid is working on Prabhu Deva's film 'Namak' and Tips' next venture 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero', to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
