The South African left-hander, who arrived here on Saturday along with his team, dwelt upon the challenges ahead and the Champions League during a brief chat.

On the difference between playing in the CL and for the Mumbai Indians: It will be a new experience for me. I have not played in India that much. So I hope to prepare for the Indian Premier League as the third edition will be played here. Whether it is for South Africa or Mumbai or for Cobras my aim is to help the team win matches.

On the pressure on him: I am not worried about expectations. I eagerly waiting to play in the CL and excel in this tournament. Here I have to adapt quickly to prevalent conditions. Pressure will always be there when you play in such high-profile tournaments, but I am ready to face them.

On Royal Challengers Bangalore: They are a strong side with some really good players in their ranks. They were the runners-up in the IPL and that shows they are strong and confident unit. But I am confident about our chances in this tournament. We are hoping to go off the block with a win against RCB and a winning start will be a huge bonus.

On the absence of Graeme Smith: Graeme is a superb player and skipper. It is tough to replace such impact player, but I am confident that we have other guys in our ranks who can come good for us in a tournament like this. We also have an experienced player like Andrew Puckett as our skipper.

On the benefits of young South African cricketers playing in the Champions League: It will be a good learning experience for the young guys in the side. They will be able to learn about different conditions in different parts of the world. But the effects will not be seen overnight, you have to wait for some time for visible results.
