DK dist prez, 2 others held for protest against Ayudha pooja

The Dravida Kazhagam district president Sakthivel and two other party functionaries have been arrested for protesting against conduct of 'Ayudha pooja' at a government enginnering college, police said.

They were among a group of 10 DK workers who protested against the ritual and shouted slogans in front of Omalor engineering college

Practical examinations were going on when the group staged their protest, police said.
