A R Navaneeth and Sahana Kulkarni took home the men’s and women’s titles in the C S Suresh Memorial State-ranking table tennis tournament at the Bangalore Medical College on Friday.
Navaneeth of BNM overcame Arpith Bhopalkar of ASGORC 6-11, 11-4, 3-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-9 in the men’s final.
Sahana of MM pulled off a thrilling 11-9, 11-7, 10-12, 11-4, 13-15, 6-11, 11-7 victory over Madhurya M of HTTA in the women’s summit clash.
Navaneeth then completed a memorable double by clinching the Youth boys crown, beating Charan V P of SAI 11-8, 11-2, 9-11, 6-11, 11-9, 5-11, 11-7 in the final.
