Addressing students at the inaugural of Allied Health Science courses at the Father Muller Medical College (FMMC) here on Monday, Rai said that rendering service in the medical profession is a team work which is closely connected to allied sciences. Communication with the patients and proper documentation of history plays very crucial role for the success in the profession, he added.
He said that the best way to acquire knowledge is to enter the institute fresh and start learning as a beginner. Further he suggested that those who enter medical profession should bestow their service in a humanitarian way. FMMC Administrator Fr Denis D’Sa said that openness, honesty and appoachability are integral parts of staff-student partnership.
Students should make use of the staff-student partnership system to the best of their advantage. “Cling on to the values and morals your parents have raised you with, and in turn, uphold the name of the institution,” he added. Father Muller Charitable Institution director Fr Patrick Rodrigues and Father Muller Charitable Hospital chief medical officer Dr Sanjeev Rai were present.
