State's first 'HR Fest' in Mysore from Nov 2

The four chapters of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Karnataka, Managalore, Mysore and North Karnataka have organised a two-day ‘Karnataka HR Mahotsava’ from November 2 in the city.

Addressing media in the city on Wednesday, chief convener of the fest Ananth Gowda said management expert Sharu S Rangnekar, business head of IMRB International, Bangalore M Panneer Selvam and director, personnel and HR, Coal India Ltd., and national president of IPM will be participating in the inaugural session on November 2 at 4.30 pm at Windflower Resorts and Spa, Mysore.

It’s also the first such session to be held in the State. Following day, various experts will be talking on different subjects like employer, employee, enterprise and ethical at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD) from 9.30 am onwards.

Chief executive officer of SDM Educational Society, Bangalore, K Sudha Rao, director of SDM-IMD Prof N Parasuraman and joint labour commissioner G L Muraleedharan will participate in the valedictory session on the day at 4.30 pm. Member of executive committee, NIPM, Savitha Gowda, Shankar Narayan from J K Tyres and Hayagreeva were present.
