Chiranjeevi to inaugurate Hampi Utsav

Union Minister of State for Tourism, Chiranjeevi, will be invited to inaugurate the Hampi Utsav which will be held for five days in January next year.

Tourism Minister Anand Singh, told reporters on Thursday that the dates will be finalised once he officially extends the invitation to the minister in New Delhi on November 5.

Promoting tourism

He said “Hampi by night,” a light and sound show, showcasing the glory of the Vijaynagara dynasty will be launched on December 10.

On the installation of a trolley ropeway at Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapur, the minister said that a Hyderabad-based company had come forward to work on the project.
“A final decision in this matter will be taken shortly,” he added.
