The logo of the 79th All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, which is scheduled to be held in the city from February 8 to 10, was unveiled by district In-Charge Minister S K Bellubbi during the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations in the city on Thursday.
The literary conference will be held on the campus of the Sainik School in the city. The event is being organised in the district after a gap of nine decades.
Superintendent of Police D C Rajappa, deputy commissioner Shivayogi Kalasad, president of the district unit of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat Mallikarjuna Yandigeri and others were present.
