Fox History and Entertainment Channel presents International Terrorism Since 1945 — The Taliban on October 7 at 9 pm.

This episode showcases the Taliban that had come to power in Afghanistan in the mid-1990s, following the ignominious departure of Soviet troops a few years earlier.

Determined to turn Afghanistan into their version of the world’s purest Islamist state, the Taliban introduced one of the most intolerant regimes the world has ever known.

Shyam Pathak who plays Popatlal’s character in Asit Modi’s family comedy show – Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is in love! It’s the charm of the London-return Kerry that is making his world go round.

Apparently, Popatlal has fallen for someone for the first time and is beginning to feel that Kerry is the one for him. You have always seen him chanting, “Duniya hilla dunga” and now, his own world is shaken. It may not be a situation of mutual affectionin his life, but Popatlal is persistently pursuing a utopian dream of a happy married life. Now only time will tell as to how long this one-sided romance is going to last? Looks like the fun has just begun in Popatlal’s life.

Dramatic twists

It’s Durga Puja and Bijoya, who delivers food dabbas to people, gets some money from one of her customers. She decides to buy some clothes for her children — Debu, Sujoy, Kajol and Mishti. Bijoya goes to deliver a dabba to her friend Anjolie, who is a curator in an art gallery.

Bijoya suffers from persistent headaches and Anjolie being her friend, advices her to get a test done, but Bijoya ignores it. Anjolie meets with a small accident at the gallery and is rushed to the hospital. Bijoya donates blood in the hospital and learns that she is suffering from cancer.
