Lenovo unveils 5 new smartphones

Lenovo, on Monday, launched five models of its smartphones, with longer battery performance, dual sim and all features of Android operating system.

The phones – K860, premium model, S880 and S560, stylish varieties, P700i for professional users and A60+ affordable variety, are among 40 models the company has been selling in China, said Lenovo India Director-sales for South Ashok Nair.

K860 comes with 1.4 GHz quad-core chips, five-inch display, 8 megapixel camera and 8 GB storage, costing Rs 28,499. The S880 has a five-inch display, dual sim slots is being sold at Rs 18,999, while S560 –priced at Rs 14,499-- has Dolby speakers and is said to be ideal for streaming music and video and surfing the internet. “All phones have longer battery life,” Nair said, adding that P700i, the business phone with dual sim costing Rs 12,499, could last for 35 hours of talk time and seven days in stand by mode.

All the four models run on Android 4.0 operating system, whereas A60+, priced at Rs 6499, comes with Anroid 2.3 version. The phones will be available at all Large Format Retailers, Multi-Brand Outlets andLenovo Exclusive Stores in Gujarat and all the southern states.
