Putting an end to the gang

In this sequel to the martial arts classic, Jackie Chan reprises his role as Lung — a member of the Yin/Yang clan — who for years has been pursued by evil gangsters known only as Heaven and Earth.

After the tragic death of his father, Lung is reunited with his father’s long-lost brother. Together, they work to defeat the nefarious gang of Heaven and Earth once and for all.

Dark side of the industry

Catch ‘Page 3’ on Filmy at 9.45 pm on November 7. This movie offers a peek into the life of celebrities and socialites, and the kind of double standards that exist in their world. It is told through the eyes of Madhvi, a journalist who cover page three parties. It is only after she is exposed to numerous lies and plenty of sorrow that she realises how dangerous this world can be. And when one of her best friends is betrayed by the man she loves, she decides it’s time to make a change. 

Evil forces in a strange world

Waterworld’ picturises a rather scary situation — the polar ice caps have melted and the earth is covered by water. The people who have managed to stay alive through this ordeal travel the seas, constantly in search of survival. Several different societies exist. A figure called the Mariner falls from his customary and solitary existence into having to care for a woman and a young girl, while being pursued by the evil forces of the Deacon. Tune in to the movie on HBO at 9 pm on November 7.

In search of his past

Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge airs on Zee Cinema at 9 pm on November 7. In this movie, Vir (played by Salman Khan), an only son, is loved and pampered by his parents — Thakur Kunal Singh (essayed by Sharat Saxena) and Thakurain Geeta Singh (portrayed by Nishigandha Wad). Vir is engaged to the beautiful Mahek (played by Diya Mirza).

They are about to get married and everything is perfect — except that Vir is haunted by some strange dreams. The truth is disclosed when a group of armed commandos come hunting down for him. Vir is told by his parents that they found him wounded with bullets and he is not their biological son.

Before getting married, Vir is determined to know everything about his past. Vir sets out to Mumbai to find out who is actually is and where is belongs.  As the truth unfolds, Vir comes to know that his real name is Ali.  The police, as well as a gang of goons, are searching to kill him. 

Threats from all over

Catch ‘Steal’ on Zee Studio at 6.40 pm on November 7. The movie is about a young group of friends, including Slim (Stephen Dorff), Frank (Steven McCarthy), Otis (Cle Bennett) and Alex (Karen Cliché), who are bank robbers.

They use innovative methods in their thefts. So far, the group has evaded the police — led by Lieutenant Macgruder (Bruce Payne) — and plan more daring heists. They get an anonymous call from a guy who knows all of them by name and threatens to tell the
police, unless they undertake a robbery for him.

Then they get a call from Surtayne (Steven Berkoff) from the mafia, with a similar threat.
Watch the film to see whether the four friends handle this situation.

‘I am a fitness freak’

Actress Aamna Sharif says she keeps herself fit by striking balance between her eating her all-time favourite dishes and working out regularly. “I believe in eating healthy. I don’t diet. I love trying new cuisines. At the same time, I am fitness freak. I have to hit the gym and do
a lot of cardio. I also do yoga,” Aamna shares. The 30-year-old, who rose to fame with the
television soap Kahiin To Hoga, did a few Bollywood projects and recently returned
to small screen with Honge Judaa Naa Hum.
