'Samsaradalli Sanidapa' to be staged on Nov 14

A cracker of a show, full of laughter, is going to be staged on November 14.
The play being staged by the well-known Mysore-based ‘Natana’ theatre group at Dhavnyaloka on Bogadi Road, is a Deepavali festival delight titled ‘Samsaradalli Sanidapa.’

This play is an adaptation of the world famous dramatist Dario Pono’s work ‘The Virtuous Burglar,’ by K V Akshara.

The situations and dialogues are the life of the play. There is subtle play of family politics, relations and awkward moments which leads to some hilarious scenes which will have the audience rolling in laughter.

The play is directed by well-known actor, director Mandya Ramesh and music is by Murali Sringeri.

Play in Sanjay’s memory

Well-known theatre group Natana staged a play ‘Dham Dhoom Suntargaali’ in the memory C N Sanjay on the occasion of his 57th birth anniversary at Dhvanyaloka on Thursday.

Sanjay son of Prof C D Narasimaiah passed away on October 8, 1985.Sanjay used to teach at the English department, University of Mysore, Manasagangothri. This is the second year his birth anniversary is being celebrated and a play staged.

Prof Anuradaha Ramamurthy, Prof K M Chander and journalist N Niranjan Nikam shared their memories.

Director of the play Mandya Ramesh also shared his views. Jayashree Sanjay welcomed the gathering.

Zoo open on Nov 13

The Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens in Mysore has announced that the Zoo and Karanji Lake nature Park will be kept open for public on November 13 (Tuesday), on account of Deepavali festival, said a release from the executive director of the Zoo.
