UNDP comes forward to help women

The Ministry of Women and Child Development have signed  a Charter of Collaboration with the  United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to promote an integrated approach to empowering women in the country. 

The Charter was signed by  K Ratna Prabha, Additional Secretary and Mission Director, National Mission for Empowerment of Women and Caitlin Wiesen, Country Director, UNDP India.

“The collaboration will focus on advancing a pilot convergence project underway to improve service delivery for women; further engagement on gender responsive policy; and exchange knowledge on gender issues,” said a UNDP release.
