Rotary Central Mysore has organised ‘Samskrithika Sangama 2012’, a cultural and talent competition on November 24 and 25 at Rotary West School auditorium.

At a press meet here on Wednesday, chairman of the organising committee R Vijay Shankar said, the competitions have been organised to provide a platform for upcoming talents. The programme will be inaugurated on November 24 at 10 am. Singing (bhavageethe-solo, film-solo and patriotic- group) and dance competitions (film songs-solo, Bharatanatyam -solo, folk dance-group) for primary and middle school students has been organised till 12 noon.

For high school and PUC students singing and dance competitions will be conducted from 12 noon to 3 pm.

From 3 pm to 5 pm, group singing and group dance in open category will be conducted.
Drawing competition for pre-primary and primary students is on November 25, from 10 am to 2 pm. Essay writing competition for middle school, high school and PU students will also be conducted. Mehendi competition, flower arrangement and rangoli competition has been organised in open category.

Healthy baby show for children up to three years, fancy dress competitions for LKG, UKG and primary school students has been organised from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Entry fee for solo events is Rs 20, group events - Rs 100, open category-Rs 25 and drawing competition- Rs 10.
