Datta Mala Abhiyana peaceful

Hundreds of Sri Ram Sene workers participate in Shobhayatre

 Datta Mala Abhiyana led by Sri Rama Sene was peaceful, on Sunday. Hundreds of Sri Rama Sene workers wearing Datta Mala, took out Shobhayathre as a part of Datta Mala Abhiyana and had the darshan of Dattapaduke at Dattatreya Peeta.

With the Datta cave under repair, the devotees could not have the darshan of the Paduke in the last four years. As the officials from Muzrai department did not allow the workers to take the photo of Dattatreya swamy, the members of Sri Rama Sene led by Pramod Muthalik staged a protest at the entrance of the Peeta and shouted slogans against the BJP government.

The devotees carried out a procession of the portrait of Dattatreya in a decorated vehicle and sang bhajans. There was disruption in the traffic following the procession.

The procession commenced from Kamadhenu temple and passed through Basavanahalli Main road-Old taluk office-Hanumanthappa Circle-I G Road and Bolarameshwara temple.
After having bath at Honnammanahalla, the devotees had the darshan of Datta Paduke at the cave. The seers carried out various religious rituals.

Dharwad sarvadharma Samanvaya Peeta Sangamananda Swamiji, Thammanna Swamiji, Shivaraja Swamiji, and others had taken part.
