Student found dead on rly track

A BSc student at a City college was found dead on the railway track at Deepanjalinagar Tuesday night.

The dead, identified as Lohith, 18, was a resident of RPC Layout. Lohith was studying at KLE College in Rajajinagar.

When the family members were contacted, it was known that Lohith, who had left home on Tuesday morning to appear for semester exams, never returned home. When his father Venkatesh, a Bescom employee, called him on his mobile phone he realised that Lohith had left it at home.

He also got to know that Lohith had not turned up for the exams when he checked the messages sent to his mobile phone. On Wednesday morning, he was told about a body lying on the railway tracks and Venkatesh identified the body.
