JOIN US Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) overpowered Karnataka State Police (KSP) 25-20, 25-22, 25-19 in the first phase of the inaugural Karnataka Volley League at the Kodandaramapuram grounds, Malleswaram, on Sunday.
Blocker Manjunath, setter Maruthi G Nayak and attacker T D Ravi Kumar were in their element as BSNL closed out the match in just 55 minutes.
Though attacker Nagesh and setter Ravindra combined well for KSP, they went down in straight sets.
Army Service Corps (ASC) eased past Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) 25-21, 25-21, 27-25 in the second match of the day. Attckers Jitu Thomas and Sunil, blocker Dinesh and setter Arun excelled for the winners.
