Friendship amidst terrorism
UTV World Movies presents Paradise Now on October 11 at 4.30 pm. The film poetically deals with one of the most difficult issues the world is facing today — terrorism. The story places two close friends, Palestinians Said and Khaled, recruited by an extremist group to perpetrate a terrorist attack in Tel-Aviv, by blowing up themselves. However, things go wrong and both friends must separate at the border. One of them, maintaining in his purpose of carry the attack to the end, and the other will have his doubts about it. The movie has won a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language film.

Vir Sanghvi’s Asian Diaries on Discovery Travel and Living has been designed to showcase what is visually spectacular about the lifestyle scene in Asia today. From beautiful spas, to grand heritage hotels and the story behind high-end Asian luxury to a look into the food and drink that has become synonymous with the region. The series will be treated in a manner where the viewer can jump from one beautiful location to the other and not spend much time on academic discussion. The programme airs at 10 pm on October 11.

Fox History and Entertainment Channel presents Hamburg Cell on October 10 at 10 pm. The Hamburg Cell is a daring psychological drama that explores the lives and minds of the leading figures in the September 11 plot. Based on extensive original research, the film explores the social, religious and ideological forces that shaped the group in their journey from students in Germany to the perpetrators of the worst terror attack in world history.

The stars reunite again
Salman Khan is a changed man these days. He is happy, content and most importantly, in a mood to forgive. Who would have imagined that Himesh Reshammiya would make it as a celebrity guest on 10 Ka Dum? But the unimaginable has happened. Himesh comes, he sings and the two bond.
