Scarred for life

Satyam Shivam Sundaram stars Shashi Kapoor, Zeenat Aman, Kanhaiyalal, A K Hangal and David Abraham. Rupa (played by Zeenat Aman) has always had a tough life. Her mother dies giving birth to her and hence, her father considers her an ill omen. The young Rupa burns her face and she is scarred for life. As she grows up, even as she looks beautiful, her scars drive prospective grooms away from her. Then Rajeev arrives from Bombay. He’s an engineer and falls in love with Rupa. He takes her father’s permission to marry and the wedding takes place despite her protests. When Rajeev finds out that his wife is disfigured, he refuses to have anything to do with her. He takes off on an official trip and returns home after a long time — then, he finds out that she is pregnant with his child. Catch the movie on Zee Cinema at 2.30 pm on December 7.

In search of the Holy Grail

Catch ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ on Star Movies at 9 pm on December 7. The movie stars Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Alison Doody, John Rhys-Davies and River Phoenix. This film is set three years after Indiana Jones recovered the Ark of the Covenant. He comes across the history of yet another biblical artefact — the Holy Grail. Jone’s father, Henry goes missing while searching for this mysterious artefact. Now, it is up to Indiana Jones to find both his father and the artefact.


A suit with special powers

The Tuxedo’ stars Jackie Chan, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jason Isaacs, Debi Mazar, Ritchie Coster and Peter Stormare. This movie is a hilarious spy spoof that involves a special tuxedo that grants its wearer special abilities and a corporate terrorist, who is threatening to poison the United States’ fresh water supply with bacteria that spills electrolytes into the blood and totally dehydrates the host. Catch the movie to find out how this threat is averted and what role the tuxedo plays in all of this. It airs on WB at 9 pm on December 7.


Tough battles to fight

Blade: Trinity’ airs on HBO at 9 pm on December 7. This film is the third in the
series. Vampire hunter Blade (played by Wesley Snipes) has a new challenge in front of him.

A group of vampires have got together and resurrected the ancient and powerful Count Dracula. Blade teams up with Abigail (essayed by Jessica Biel) and the Nightstalkers’ hunters to thwart the Dracula.  Watch the movie to find out how he manages this.


Out to kill a vampire

Van Helsing’ is set in the late 19th century and is the story of Gabriel Van Helsing, a renowned vampire hunter who cannot recall his own past. He comes across a place that is ruled by Count Dracula, the seductive and timeless vampire. Van Helsing has been sent to destroy Dracula — to do this, he partners with Anna Valerious, whose family has been extinguished by the dreaded vampire. Both of them try to end Dracula’s life — but before that, Helsing discovers a secret and must remember his past. Tune in to the movie on December 7 at 5 pm on Zee Studio.


Three housemates set to go

In tonight’s episode of the sixth season of ‘Bigg Boss’, the viewers will witness the exit of three housemates from the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, as the all housemates are have been nominated for eviction. Salman Khan will announce the names of these three housemates on the show. Tune in to the show on Colors at 9 pm on December 7.


Twists in their love story

Catch Socha Na Tha on Zee Premier at 1 pm on December 7. Viren (played by Abhay Deol) and Aditi (portrayed by Ayesha Takia) are introduced to each other as their families are keen that they get married. But Viren refuses the alliance as he wants to marry Karen, whom he is in love with. Aditi’s aunt feels insulted when the wedding does not materialise. But as weeks pass, Viren gets to know Aditi and realises that he loves her. But what about his commitment to Karen and what of Aditi’s engagement to Mahesh?
