Bowlers have a ball at the Roshanara

Wickets fell like nine-pins at Roshanara ground, a rarity when Delhi plays at home. But unlike Ferozeshah Kotla, the pitch here was had bounce and assisted seam and swing.

Delhi though found themselves ill at ease at the end of the opening day of Ranji Trophy against Maharashtra on Saturday.

It was the same old story which Delhi had written for it throughout this season.  On a day when 13 wickets fell, the hosts, electing to field, bowled out Maharashtra for 196 at stroke of tea only to suffer the same fate and tether at  60/3 at stumps.
