Sivam, Sadiq power Air India

Sivam Mishra and Sadiq Kirmani struck fiery centuries to propel Air India Sports Club into the final of the KSCA Group II, Division II league tournament with a facile win over Food Corporation of India.

Riding on the backs of centuries from Sivam (188 runs, 142 balls, 21x4, 3x6) and Sadiq Kirmani (132, 109b, 12x4, 4x6), Air India posted a daunting 433 for five in the allotted 50 overs. Sandeep Sawal (32 n.o.) and Taril-Ur-Rehman (26 n.o.) too chipped in with their cameos to help the side. Anand Baraki was the pick of the bowlers for FCI with a two-wicket effort.

In reply, Waseem Mohammed scalped four wickets while Daivik Vishwanath bagged three to help Air India bowl out FCI for a mere 171, registering a crushing 262-run win.
In the other semifinal, BEML (2) Sports Club of Mysore posted a 94-run victory against Corporation Bank.

BEML (2) Sports Club, Mysore: 237 all out in 49.5 overs (S Rajath 57, Nirmith N 72, G Pavan 46; Vinu Prasad 3-30, Dikshanshu 3-35) bt Corporation Bank: 143 all out in 35.3 overs (Dikshanshu 38, Vinu Prasad 37; R Lakshman 2-26, Jagadeesh Kumar 2-24, G Pawan 3-14).
