Maoist leader Kishenji has reportedly admitted to have ordered the beheading of Jharkhand Special Branch police inspector Francis Induwar, but declined to tender any apology for the act.
On September 30, Maoists had kidnapped Induwar from Jharkhand’s Khunti district and later on October 6, his decapitated body was found on the Jamshedpur-Ranchi Highway.
Regarding the issue, which was described by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram as a “cold-blooded murder,” Kishenji said they usually did not behead everyone and they (Maoists) would only behead their real enemies.
