From the streets to the stage

In ‘Step Up’, Mac, Skinny and Tyler leave a party to break into an art school. They damage many of the props there. The guard is about to catch them when Tyler helps the other two escape and takes the blame.

He is sentenced to 200 hours of community service at the school. During his job, he meets Nora, a dance student. He learns a few steps and later shows his friends the ballet steps while mixing them with break-dance.

The movie stars Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan, Mario, Drew Sidora and Alyson Stoner. Tune in to the flick on HBO at 7.05 pm on December 26.

Conflicts come to light

Catch Madhubala… Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors at 8.30 pm on December 26. In tonight’s episode of the show, RK notices the comfort level in Padmini and Shamsher’s relationship.

At home, he suggests to Madhu that they should legalise the couple’s relationship into marriage — but this upsets Madhu as she believes in the purity of her parent’s relationship. This ends up causing a fight between RK and Madhu.

Trapped in a web of deceit

Chocolate’ stars Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Emraan Hashmi, Irrfan Khan and Tanushree Dutta. Krish (played by Anil Kapoor) is a sharp and egotistical lawyer, who has unmatched legal skills.

Rocker (essayed by Sunil Shetty) is an obsessed lover clear about one thing —
nothing comes in his way.

Pipi (Irfan Khan) is a soulful thinker, who would always prefer to walk the hard but right path. Tubby (played by Arshad Warsi) is a playboy obsessed with drugs and rock and roll. Sim (Tanushree Dutta) is a temptress with a doubtful past. Devaa (Emraan Hashmi) is a passionate musician who sees the world in black and white and Mansoon (Sushma Reddy) is a charming, down-on-her-luck journalist.   

These seven people are caught up in a web of deceit one Christmas. Catch the movie on Filmy at 6 pm on December 26.

Far from an ordinary day

Catch ‘A Wednesday’ on UTV Action at 6.45 pm on December 26. Prakash Rathod (played by Anupam Kher), the commissioner of police, receives an anonymous call one day. It is on a Wednesday.  The caller (Naseeruddin Shah) demands the release of four captured terrorists who are associated with the many attacks on the country.

After he is convinced that it is no prank call, Prakash sends the prisoners along with his best men, Arif (essayed by Jimmy Shergill) and Jai (played by Amir Bashir) to be handed over.  Watch the film to find out whether the terrorists get away scot-free. 

Drama in the sky

The Aviator’ stars Christopher Reeve, Rosanna Arquette, Jack Warden, Sam Wanamaker and Scott Wilson. It is directed by George Miller.

Christopher Reeve stars as a daredevil pilot in this exhilarating tale, which is centered around the heyday of early flying.

Rosanna Arquette plays his feisty (and rather unwilling) passenger. Tune in to the movie on MGM at 9 pm on December 26.
