Sisters to make Bharatanatyam debut

Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Daance, Hebbal is presenting the ‘Rangapravesha’ of S V Sushma  and S V Poornashree  disciples of Guru Vidushi Mitra Naveen on December 10  at 5.30 pm  at Jaganmohan palace auditorium.

 Managing partner of Mangalore Ganesh Beedi works M Jagannath Shenoy, deputy director of Karnataka Police Academy Dharanidevi Malagatti and dancer Tulasi Ramachandra will be guests.

S V Poornashree  and S V Sushma  are the daughters of H R Vijayakumari and S  Venkatagiri, Manager of Ganesh Beedi factory. Their inner most talent, dedication and hard work has carved an active and outstanding artist with the able and efficient guidance of Guru Vidushi Mitra Naveen.

Presently Sushma is doing her final year in Para Medical ( O. T Technician) course in BGS international foundation for health science, Apollo hospital, Mysore. She has given several Bharatanatya performances and vocal concerts. In addition to this Sushma is the recepient of the Yoga Championship for three years from 2005 in State Level competition conducted by Patanjali Yoga Kendra.

She has also emerged as a versatile national level yoga champion. Poornashree is currently studying at  GSSS PU collegeMysore. She has participated in several music and dance dramas and her performance in various competition has fetched her many awards which stand as ample evidence for her knowledge of art. Apart from Bharatanatyam she has participated and secured several prizes in Musical, Yoga  and Sports competitions.
