JOIN USA hotel employee hanged himself in the toilet of the hotel near Minerva Circle late Monday night. Mohan, 34, worked as a bill collector at the hotel.
The incident came to light Tuesday morning when another employee went to use the toilet. He grew suspicious as the person inside did not answer any calls and did not come out even after an hour. He peeped through the window to find Mohan hanging from the window railings. The hotel employees later broke open the door and lowered the body.
Police sources said Mohan was a native of Jayakondam village near Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu. He was working in the hotel for the past two years and was staying on the second floor room. Mohan had gone to his village for Sankranti festival but returned Monday night itself.
Police suspect that a family dispute might have forced him to take the extreme step.
