Karnataka Badminton Association’s Aravind Bhat pulled off a stunning win over third seed Rohan Castelino to claim the men’s singles crown in the Chettinad Cement Sadashivanagar Five-star State-ranking badminton tournament here on Saturday.
Aravind posted a 21-15, 19-21, 21-11 win over Castelino in the summit clash.
In the women’s category, top seed Ruth Misha Vinod was upset by fourth-seeded Mira Mahadevan 15-21, 18-21 in the title round.
