Gang arrested for looting copper wire

The gang comprising Chandra, Dharma, Gangaraj, Hanumantharaju and Prakash were arrested by the Bangalore police, whereas another accused Gangadhar was nabbed by Nelamangala police. The dacoity took place at Reliance godown on NH-4. Stolen items and the weapon snatched from the security guards have been recovered.

Stolen jewellery recovered
Doddaballapur rural police, on Tuesday, arrested a man in connection with theft of gold ornaments in Bangalore, Tumkur and Nelamangala and recovered jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh.

According to the police, Madhu (26), a native of Ananthpur district in AP, was arrested at Tubugere bus stand.

One arrested
A man was arrested for snatching a chain worth Rs 1.5 lakh in Doddaballapur. The chain was recovered from his possession. Umesh, a resident of Doddaballapur had snatched the gold chain of T G Kusum, when she was standing in front of her house along with her husband in July.
