Three accused in the Samjhauta Express blast case, lodged in the Ambala Central Jail, today went on a hunger strike to protest Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's recent "saffron terror" remarks.

Assemanand, Kamal Chauhan and Rajinder, facing trial in the CBI special court at Panchkula, began their hunger strike, prison sources said.
