Writer Chetan Bhagat, filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor, boxing ace Vijender Singh, actors Gul Panag and Rajeev Khandelwal will all set out to traverse different regions of the country on a road journey to pursue their personal endeavours. The journeys will be recorded for a new TV show.

Ford India and National Geographic Channel have come together for MyEndeavour alterrain, an adventure driving series. Starting in May, the show will feature five real people from different walks of life, each who sets out on a thrilling journey with Ford's latest Endeavour Alterrain Edition.

"Their journeys will be documented across breathtaking landscapes and all kinds of terrains this vast country has to offer," Debarpita Banerjee, vice president (Marketing), National Geographic and Fox International Channels, India, said here.

Nagesh’s ultimate endeavour is to complete an unfinished road-trip to Coorg and Munnar that he had undertaken in 1995, and Vijender plans to drive through Rajasthan till the India-Pakistan border post and sing for the army men there.

Chetan Bhagat wants to explore the drive from Ahmedabad to Junagarh in Gujarat, and "serial road-tripper" and traveller Gul wants to zoom away to coastal Karnataka with a drive from Goa to Hampi.

Rajeev would like to revive his earliest travel memories - camp under the sky and experience the cultural odyssey from Dibrugarh, Assam to Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh.

The shooting of the show is likely to begin in mid-March.
