JLR K Gudi property legal, claims MD

Jungle Lodges & Resorts has in a statement clarified that the JLR K Gudi property was functioning as per the existing rules.

The JLR managing director claimed that the property fell in the designated tourism zone of the BRT Tiger Reserve and it was not “illegal.”

He also claimed the property was in line with the proposed Tiger Conservation Plan and its operation too followed the guidelines of Tiger Tourism of the National Tiger Conservation Authority.

He further stated that the recent Supreme Court order on tiger tourism provided for continuation of the existing properties and this applied to JLR K Gudi property as well.
