Ostracised family stages protest

 
B T Yathish runs a fair price shop at Balyadalu in Sakharayapatna and the villagers had demanded Yathish to hand over the land on which his shop was located to the temple in the village. When Yathish refused to do so, the villagers ostracised his family and ordered that nobody will have any contact with his family. The family has been denied entry to the temple too. Unable to put up with the atrocities, the family staged a protest outside the police station asking the police to take action.

Kadur Sub Inspector Santhosh Shetty arrived at the spot and consoled the family. He promised to deliver justice to the family. Cases were booked against 4 people in this regard.
