“We are really proud of our fourth edition of the carnival. With a nominal entry fee, there is something for everyone in the festival,” said R Arun, Director (Marketing) of Common Colors Entertainment, during the special preview.

Keeping wholesome entertainment in mind, the fest will have art shows with prominent artists showcasing their work, a shopping festival featuring around 30 handicrafts, an auto fest, and the highlight being the music festival, which will see more than 22 bands covering all sorts of genres from all over the country. “We have also introduced some innovative games in relation to beer, which will give a feel of the Oktober Fest held in Germany,” he added.

Also present at the preview were some of the bands, who have played in the fest before, and a few who will be debuting in the festival. “It’s a great opportunity for us to get closer to our audience and enjoy a live performance,” said Bruce Lee Mani from Thermal and a Quarter.

Some of the other bands and singers who will performing are KK, Raghu Dixit, Avial, Motherjane, and the Indian Ocean.

The three-day event will also focus on two areas. Part of the proceeds would go to the cancer patient care at Karunashraya and Rs five from each ticket will be given to the Karnataka Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

To be held between October 23 and 25, the festival will be open all-day long. For details, call 25091060/70.
