BSY remark on BJP rout draws flak

Last Updated 13 March 2013, 17:17 IST

A section of the BJP legislators on Wednesday criticised former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa for his statement that the Karnataka Janata Party’s aim was only to finish off the BJP politically. He should close the party office because he seems to have no intention to serve the people, they said at a press conference.

MLC Ashwathnarayana said it was strange that Yeddyurappa has said that his only aim was to pack off the BJP. Such negative thinking would not serve any purpose and it is better to close the KJP, the MLC told mediapersons. He was accompanied by BJP MLAs Ashwathnarayana, Appu Pattanashetty and  B N Vijayakumar.
