The Congress Legislative Party meeting on Wednesday passed three resolutions, including condemnation of BJP MLA from Tuglakabad Ramesh Bidhuri, who used objectionable language against a women officer a few days ago.

According to CLP spokesperson Mukesh Sharma, the meeting was chaired by chief minister Sheila Dikshit, and all the resolutions were passed unanimously. Welcoming the decision of regularising 895 unauthorised colonies and criticising the three civic agencies for not keeping the city clean were the other two resolutions.

“Union urban development minister, Delhi chief minister and the city government were commended for this decision, which will provide relief to 60 lakh people. The members also expressed their gratitude for taking up development work in the colonies, and to allow using MLA local area development fund in unauthorised colonies,” said Sharma.

In another resolution, the three civic agencies were condemned for providing sanitation services in the city. They were asked to get proper sweeping done on concrete roads. The CLP members also blamed municipal corporations for mosquito breeding in Delhi. “The condition may lead to outbreak of dengue and malaria,” said Sharma.

The third resolution passed by the CLP condemned the behaviour of a MLA Ramesh Bidhuri, who misbehaved with a woman officer of the city government. “Bidhuri used objectionable language while interacting with the officer.

The CLP demanded an apology from Bidhuri,” said Sharma, adding that an FIR under section 189 and 509 the IPC is also being considered to be filed against him. A few days ago Bidhuri was heard shouting and using objectionable language to a woman officer for not doing the work he had demanded at Delhi Secretariat.
