A master in his own way

Ip Man’ is a semi-biographical account of Yip Man, the first martial-arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of wing chun. The movie stars Donnie Yen, Simon Yam, Siu-Wong Fan, Ka Tung Lam, Yu Xing, You-Nam Wong and Chen Zhi Hui and is directed by Wilson Yip. Catch ‘Ip Man’ on HBO at 6.50 pm on March 21. 

A robbery gone wrong

Watch ‘The Curse of Inferno’ on MGM at 9 pm on March 21. In an effort to escape their dusty backwater Texas town, a pair of mismatched losers rob a local bank.

There is only one problem — another set of thieves breaks in during the hold-up. Now, no one knows who’s got the money and one of the young hooligans falls madly in love with the sexy policewoman investigating the case.

In an unexpected twist, it turns out that both the mayor and the police chief in this crooked town have been laundering money through the local bank. Catch the movie to find out what happens next.

When survival is tough

Zombieland’ is set during a time in the future, when zombies have taken over America. Columbus (played by Jesse Eisenberg) studies in a college in Texas and has only managed to survive following his 30 rules — including ‘shoot twice’, ‘avoid public restrooms’ and ‘look in the back seat’. He needs to go to Ohio to find out whether his parents are alive and so, he hitches a ride with another zombie-hater. They come across sisters Wichita (portrayed by Emma Stone) and Little Rock (essayed by Abigail Breslin), who are on their way to an amusement park in Los Angeles. Will Columbus find his family alive? Coping with the chaos One for the Money’ stars Katherine Heigl, Jason O’Mara, Daniel Sunjata, John Leguizamo and Sherri Shepherd. The movie is about Stephanie Plum, who — out of work and hard of cash — turns in desperation to her disreputable cousin Vinnie, of Vinnie’s Bail Bonds, for work. She becomes a bail enforcement agent, chasing after Vinnie’s highest stakes bail jumper: Joe Morelli, a former vice cop who is wanted for murder, and who also happened to dump Stephanie back in high school. In the midst of the chase, Stephanie has to deal with her meddling family. Tune in to the movie on March 21, at 9 pm in Star Movies.

Can they trust each other?

Duplicity’ stars Clive Owen, Julia Roberts, Tom Wilkinson, Paul Giamatti and Lisa Roberts Gillan. Five years back, Ray used to work for M16 and Claire for the CIA. Today, they work in industrial security for two different corporate houses. The CEOs of both groups hate one another. One of them is planning to announce a revolutionary project in a week. Ray and Claire plan to get together and sell the project to a third rival business. But can they trust each other enough to carry out their theft?
