MSI’s net sales grew by 46.67 per cent during the quarter ended September 30, 2009, at Rs 7,049.58 crore, against Rs 4,806.26 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s domestic sales grew by 21.9 per cent at 2,09,083 units led by new models such Estilo, A-Star, Ritz. In the first six months of the fiscal, net profit stood at Rs 1,153.5 crore as against Rs 761.97 crore in the same period a year ago, up by 51.38 per cent. Net sales during the first half of the fiscal stood at Rs 13,389.8 crore as against Rs 9,537.29 crore.
