Taking a dig at the Congress, State BJP President Prahlad Joshi has said that Congress leaders who spoke of Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 crore scams, had failed to utter a word about the scam worth Rs 3,75,000 crore of the UPA government.
Speaking at BJP Vijaya Sankalpa Yathre in Madikeri on Friday, he said that the BJP-led State government had given good administration in the last five years.
He said that the BJP would face the Assembly elections under the leadership of Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, Ananth Kumar, K S Eshwarappa, D V Sadananda Gowda and R Ashok. “I will be the chariot rider of Pandavas,” he added.
Joshi said that the State government had initiated several development programmes.
Speaker K G Bopaiah has said that the BJP-led State government had fulfilled all the promises made to the people during elections. He said that the Jamma row too had been solved.
