Prakash, one of the mainstays at Earth Movers, led the attack brilliantly along with Tiken Singh in the completely one-sided contest at the Bangalore Football stadium.

Prakash gave BEML the lead in the 10th minute while Tiken extended the advantage to 2-0 a minute later.

With the momentum completely on BEML’s side, SAI failed to find their footing and were reduced to spectators for the remaining part of the weekend encounter.

BEML had more reason to cheer before the first half ended. They took the interval at 3-0 with Prakash at the helm again.

Despite the safety cushion, BEML came all guns firing in the second half and Hamanaza struck in the 52nd minute before Kalander wrapped up a huge win two minutes later.
In the day’s other match, Bharath Electronics Limited edged newcomers Indian Space Research Organisation 2-1. Lokesh gave ISRO a surprise lead in the 45th minute but Mohan cancelled it out five minutes after the interval.

Michael then scored the winner for BEL in the 85th minute of the match.
